Partial closure of Highway 97 following vehicle incident near Vernon

VERNON — A vehicle incident outside of Vernon has closed the southbound lanes of Highway 97.
According to Drive BC, the incident occurred between Clerke Road and Birnie Road (about 2 km south of Coldstream).
The detour available is via Kal Lake Lookout Road, and the estimated time of re-opening is listed as 11:00 PM this evening (Jan. 6).
