Snowfall warning continued for Thursday on B.C. highways

KAMLOOPS — The snowfall warning is still in effect this morning for the southern portion of the Coquihalla from Hope to Merritt, and on the Trans Canada in the Rogers Pass area.

On the Coquihalla, the snow developed later than expected last night, and is accumulating over the highway this morning.

Compact snow on the road at this hour. Up to 15 centimeters expected, then turning to rain later this afternoon, back to snow tonight. 

On the Rogers Pass, they’re expecting heavy snow today and tonight. Anywhere from 15-30 centimeters is expected by tonight.
