KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops and BC Transit partnered with Save-On Foods in Columbia Square over the weekend to try and Stuff the Bus with non-perishable food and monetary donations for the Kamloops Food Bank.

According to Elnaz Ansari, Transportation Engineer with the city, organizers wanted to keep pace with the generosity Kelowna showed during their Stuff the Bus event.

“We actually have a challenge! The City of Kelowna just did this and they filled two busses up,” Ansari told CFJC Today on the weekend. “It’s a great way of giving, it’s the perfect season to be giving, and it’s a great way to give food.”
