Vernon RCMP seize numerous weapons, but no charges laid

VERNON — Police in Vernon seized a number of guns, knives, and other weapons from a man found sleeping in a vehicle.

 Officers were called out Thursday morning where they found a man snoozing in the driver’s seat.

After a long gun was spotted in the vehicle, a further search turned up about 20 weapons including an antique revolver, numerous knives, and imitation weapons.
 
Police seized the items, but had insufficient grounds for charges against the 26 year old man from Surrey BC.
