KAMLOOPS — A local man accused of barricading himself inside of a unit at G & M Trailer Park last October will stand trial next fall.

Court documents show Shane William Caron’s trial is expected to begin on Sept. 9, 2019 in Kamloops.

Caron was charged with a long list of offences, including four counts of attempted murder, after a chase from Kamloops’s North Shore to the trailer park last October. The standoff lasted 17 hours.

None of the allegations against Caron have been proven in court, and it’s not clear at this point what charges he is still facing.
