UPDATE: Hydro service restored near Logan Lake

LOGAN LAKE, B.C. — UPDATE: Power has been restored to the area. BC Hydro has not listed what caused the outage.

EARLIER: BC Hydro crews are en route to a power outage affecting several communities off the Coquihalla Highway.

Roughly 1,732 people are being affected by this outage, which is east of Highway 5A in the Logan Lake and Mamette Lake areas.

Crews are expected to arrive shortly after 9:30 a.m. this morning (Nov. 30), but power has been off since just after 7:00 a.m.

No word at this point on the cause of the outage.
