WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — A logging truck driver suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries in a single vehicle crash west of Williams Lake this (Nov.13) morning.

Cpl. Jeremy Roberts says just before 11:30 a.m. a loaded logging truck crashed heading east at the Farwell Canyon Road turnoff on Highway 20.

He says the truck had crossed the oncoming traffic lane and ended up rolling in a ditch.

“Preliminary investigation is showing the incident was caused by a malfunction with one of the vehicle’s front tires. The driver was trapped in the cab of the truck, but with the assistance of several good Samaritans was pulled out.”
