SALMON ARM, B.C. — RCMP in Salmon Arm are crediting a vehicle’s on-board tracking service for helping them collar a pair of suspected armed robbers.

In a news release, Staff Sgt. Scott West says police were called to an armed robbery report at a downtown ATM yesterday afternoon (Nov. 12).

The victims told police a masked man had threatened them with a knife before making off with the victims’ cash, identification and vehicle.

The man was joined by a female accomplice, and they drove the victim’s SUV toward Vernon.
