ALEXIS CREEK, B.C. — A 23-year-old man has been charged in connection to a homicide in Alexis Creek last month.

Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says in a news release that Kyle Tyler Gilpin is now facing a second-degree murder charge, after being charged with obstructing the course of justice and uttering threats of death or bodily harm shortly after the homicide.

Saunderson says Gilpin has been in custody since the original charges were laid.

He’s scheduled to appear in Williams Lake Provincial Court tomorrow (Nov. 7) in connection to all three charges.
