Former Blazers captain new Silverbacks assistant coach

KAMLOOPS — A former Blazers team captain is a new assistant coach with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

Tyler Shattock is joining the staff of his hometown team in the B.C. Hockey League.

Shattock played for the Blazers from 2006 to 2010.

He was the team captain for the first half of his 20-year old season in ’09-’10 before being traded to the Calgary Hitmen.

A 4th round draft by St. Louis in 2009, Shattock played eight pro seasons, all in the minors.
