Hotel 540 closes tomorrow for five months

KAMLOOPS — Starting tomorrow, Hotel 540 in Kamloops will shut its doors for five months due to renovations.

At the beginning of this year, the Kamloops-based National Hospitality Group announced a franchise agreement that would transform the hotel at 540 Victoria St. into a Delta by Marriott property by next spring.

Along with the rebrand, the hotel is set to receive major renovations which are due to begin tomorrow.

According to the Hotel 540 website, doors are expected to reopen again in April.
