Vibe sweep TWU, take over first place

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Vibe swept two home games this weekend against the TWU Spartans 2-0 and 6-0.

Saturday night’s home opener was at MAC Island Olympic in front of a crowd of loyal fans!  The Vibe’s first goal was scored in the second period by Adrianne Dewhurst with the second goal scored in the third by Melinda Smith.

The Vibe faced off Sunday morning against the Spartans scoring two goals in each period. Scoring by Karolyi (2), Rochelle Smith, Melinda Smith, Jenna Ormondy and Kathleen MacDonald. Ashley Fisher in net for both shut outs.

The Vibe are now back in first place. Kamloops travels to Vancouver this coming weekend playing 4 games in 3 days.
