Man arrested in connection to suspicious death near Alexis Creek

ALEXIS CREEK, B.C. — RCMP in Alexis Creek are investigating a suspicious death, and currently have one man in custody.

Cpl. Madonna Saunderson with the North District says officers were called to a residence in Redstone, west of Alexis Creek on Friday, Oct. 19 at 11:08 p.m.

When police arrived, they discover a deceased adult male, and the death appeared to be suspicious in nature.

Alexis Creek RCMP called for assistance from the North District’s Major Crime Unit. One man is in custody and he’s due to appear in court on Nov. 7.

Saunderson says there’s no information to suggest that the public is at any further risk, and no more information will be released at this time.
