KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops man charged in connection to an assault that left a teenager in a coma more than two years ago will plead guilty this week.

Crown prosecutor on the case, Wendy Stephen, tells CFJCToday.com that Kristopher Teichrieb will be pleading guilty tomorrow, Oct. 23.

“He will be pleading guilty and will be sentenced that day,” Stephen says.

There’s no information available on what charge — or charges — Teichrieb will be pleading guilty to, although he is facing charges of attempted murder and assault with a weapon, in connection to the assault of 18-year-old Jessie Simpson in June 2016.
