WolfPack qualify for men’s soccer playoffs

KAMLOOPS — After sitting outside the playoff picture for most of the season WolfPack men’s soccer squeezed their way in in the final game.

The WolfPack defeated the UBC Thunderbirds 1-0, handing number one ranked UBC its only loss of the season.

Joshua Banton scored the WolfPack goal on a header off a Mitch Popadynetz free kick in the 45th minute.

TRU will be off to the playoffs next weekend where they face Alberta in the first game.

WolfPack women’s soccer finished their season with a 1-1 tie against McEwan —- not enough to make it into the playoffs.
