West Fraser Road washed out south of Quesnel

QUESNEL, B.C. — Those travelling between Quesnel and Williams Lake won’t be able to use a section of West Fraser Road for the forseeable future.

Drive BC says West Fraser Road has been washed out at Narcosli Creek, about 30 kilometres south of Quesnel.

The provincial transportation ministry says the washout caused a “long-term closure” at that spot.

Drivers can use Garner Road and Webster Lake Road to detour around the washout.
