WolfPack score late, keep playoff hopes alive

KAMLOOPS — It was a do or done game for the TRU WolfPack men’s soccer team —- their playoff hopes on a thin thread as they played host to the Trinity Western Spartans this afternoon.

Josh Banton’s goal in the 90th minute gave the WolfPack a 2-1 win, keeping their playoff hopes alive.

After Trinity Western had opened the scoring in the 54th minute, Mitch Popadynetz tied it for the WolfPack in the 65th minute.

The WolfPack will wrap up the regular season this weekend with home games against Victoria and undefeated UBC.
