KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops man could be facing charges after what appeared to be a handgun fell out of his pocket at a local Tim Horton’s restaurant.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in a news release that Kamloops RCMP received a report of two suspicious men at the Tim Horton’s on Columbia Street at 8:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12. While standing in the restaurant, what appeared to be a handgun fell out of one man’s pocket and landed on the floor.

“The male said, “whoops”, picked up the handgun and put it back in his pocket,” Shelkie says in the release.

Officers showed up and found the two men outside of the Tim Horton’s. During arrest, one of the men was found to have an air soft pistol and some drugs in his pockets.
