KELOWNA — It remains to be seen how seriously the Hells Angels will take getting issued a traffic ticket — but that happened during the biker gang’s annual Poker Run in Kelowna.

Saturday’s event saw riders collect cards at checkpoints between Kelowna and Vernon, with prizes awarded to those with the best poker hand.

Mounties pulled over and ticketed the lead biker after he refused to proceed at a green light, holding up 5 blocks of traffic on Glenmore Road.

The driver was apparently waiting for all 90 participants to line-up at the light.
