KAMLOOPS — The Blazers used another quick start to grab their second straight win of the season, 3-1 over Kelowna on Saturday night.

19-year-old forward Orrin Centazzo, who had three assists in the opener in Kamloops on Friday, got the scoring started 4:16 into the game at Prospera Place.

The Blazers added two goals in the second, including Jermaine Loewen’s first of the year to give the visitors a 2-0. Then newcomer Zane Franklin notched his second goal as a Blazer late in the period to give Kamloops a three-goal advantage. Like the opener on Friday, the Rockets didn’t score their first goal until the third.

The Blazers now have six days off before facing the Victoria Royals on Friday and Saturday night in the provincial capital. Their next home game is next Wednesday, Oct. 3 against Don Hay and the Portland Winterhawks.
