KAMLOOPS — The Regional Vice-President with the Ambulance Paramedics of BC is very pleased with the province’s decision to add 21 extra paramedics to the region — 18 in Kamloops and three in Chase, plus two new ambulances for Kamloops.

“It’s very encouraging and it’s a great thing to see them continue to add fulltime resources throughout the province,” says Keith Taylor. “This is a significant positive step towards some balanced workload.”

He adds the new resources will help decrease the workload on current resources and increase wellness for the paramedics.
