EDMONTON, AB — Playing in a snow storm and frigid conditions, coupled with playing the top team in the Canada West Prairie Division resulted in the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack being frozen out 5-0 in league play Saturday (Sept 15).

Playing at Foote Stadium in Edmonton, the host Bears got a goal and two assists from Karissa McNutt.  The Pandas peppered WolfPack keeper Danielle Robertson with 26 shots: 10 of which reached the net.  She made five saves.   Rebecca Reif notched the ‘clean sheet’ as she stopped three.  All three Thompson Rivers shots came in the second half.

Alberta moves to 3-0 on the season while the WolfPack fall to 1-2 as they head to Southern Alberta for a Sunday (Sept 16) morning tilt with the Mount Royal University Cougars.
