Staffing problem will close RIH lab this weekend

KAMLOOPS — The Royal Inland Hospital outpatient lab will be closed this weekend.

Interior Health says the lab, located in the Clinical Services Building, will be down both Saturday and Sunday.

The closure is being blamed on “unexpected staffing challenges.”

Those needing lab services on Saturday are encouraged to visit the LifeLabs location on Tranquille Road.

Regular hours will resume at the RIH lab on Monday.
