Crime Stoppers looking for theft, assault suspect

KAMLOOPS — Law enforcement officials are trying to identify a woman suspected in an attempted theft and assault at a downtown convenience store.

Kamloops Crime Stoppers says the incident took place last Sunday, when a woman tried to steal several items from the shop.

When a store employee tried to stop her, police say the woman assaulted him.

  • In her 30s
  • Shoulder-length straight "blondish" hair
  • Was wearing dark jacket and sunglasses
