Williams Lake RCMP seek good Samaritan who broke up fight
WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Police in Williams Lake are seeking the public’s help in locating a good Samaritan that assisted an assault victim.
Williams Lake RCMP Cst. Andrew Waters says on Monday at 12:00 p.m., police responded to a report of a fight near the corner of Third Avenue North and Cameron Street.
“Initial investigation by police indicates that a male and female youth had been assaulted by two other youth, who were wearing masks.”
He says at some point during the scrap, a 45 to 50 year old man helped the female victim and was able to break up the fight, at which time the suspects fled the scene.
