Head-on crash injures four near Grindrod

VERNON — Several people were injured in a highway crash near Grindrod this morning.

Police say two small vehicles collided head-on just before 7 a.m. after one of the vehicles crossed the centre line in the 6600 block of Highway 97A.

Four people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Drugs and alcohol were not factors, but the 18 year old driver from Salmon Arm is facing possible charges under the Motor Vehicle Act., with the investigation continuing.
