Wolfpack working on busy weekend with mixed results

KAMLOOPS — The TRU Wolfback Men’s Soccer team got an extra-time goal from second-year defender Joshua Banton to tie the University of Victoria at 3, on the Island yesterday. The Pack were down 2-0 at one point in the first half. 

James Fraser and Thomas Lantmeeters scored the other Wolfpack goals. 

The Women’s Soccer team had the lead most of the way despite being badly outshot, but gave up two late goals and lost 2-1 to the MacEwan Griffins at Hillside Stadium.

The Pack were outshot 27-11 in the game. Kelsey Thorkelsson scored the Wolfpack goal. Danielle Robertson was outstanding in goal for the Pack, who host UNBC this afternoon (Sunday)  at 1:00 PM. 

The Wolfpack baseball team began their fall schedule with two wins over Langley Saturday.

TRU’s Tyler Hodder was the winner in the first game as TRU won 7-5. In the second game, TRU took at 6-2 decision. Tyler Moskalyk was the winner on the mound.
