Accident closes Trans Canada near Tappen

KAMLOOPS – The long weekend is not going well on our highways. After a semi fire this morning between Golden and the Rogers Pass summitt closed the highway for a time, the highway has now been closed because of an accident near Tappen. No details on the accident yet, but the road has been closed in both directions. Crews are hoping to have the route reopened by 8:30. Check the Drive B.C. website for updates.
