Fall fairs provide great long weekend fun

KAMLOOPS — If you’re looking for something to do over the long weekend, there are a couple of great fairs within a short drive.

The North Thompson Fall Fair in Barriere starts in earnest today, and continues through Monday. The parade starts tomorrow at 11:00 AM and arrives at the fair grounds at noon.

Lots of displays, amusements, rodeo and pony chariot races, as well as a number of social events are all planned.

And if you’re heading in the other direction, Armstrong is hosting its 119th annual Interior Provincial Exhibition.
