TNRD rescinds evacuation order near Wild Goose Lake Wildfire

KAMLOOPS — Thompson Nicola Regional District residents who were forced to evacuate their homes due to the Wild Goose Wildfire are now permitted to go home. 

The evacuation order for Electoral Area ‘E’ (Bonaparte Plateau), put in place on Aug. 11, has been rescinded. 

Properties remain under an evacuation alert, meaning residents need to be prepared should another order be issued.
