Woman found dead near Sandman Centre

KAMLOOPS — A shocking discovery near Sandman Centre this morning.
Mounties say the dead body of a woman was discovered at 9:30 a.m. on the ground just off the walking path between Riverside Park and Pioneer Park.
“No criminality is suspected in the female’s death,” says Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Jodi Shelkie. “The woman, in her 60’s, was from Kamloops.”
She says the file has been handed over to the BC Coroners Service.
