Both B.C. teams playing in the quarter-finals today

KAMLOOPS — The quarter-finals tip off today at the U-15 and U-17 Boys National Basketball Championships in Kamloops. Both Team BC squads have a chance to advance to the semi-finals with a win tonight.

Kamloops’ own Tyrell Chadwick and the U-15 boys play Ontario in their quarter-final tonight at 8:15 at the Tournament Capital Centre’s championship court, while the U-17 team plays Saskatchewan with tip-off set for 6 p.m., also at the TCC. 

On Wednesday, the under-15 team defeated Newfoundland 85-61 to advance to the quarter-final round. Chadwick had eight points in the win.
