KAMLOOPS — Two Blazers are taking part in the national under-17 development camp that begins on Wednesday in Calgary with players from across the Canadian Hockey League getting assessed for the 2018 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

Sixteen-year-old forward Josh Pillar, who played one game with the Blazers last season, and 16-year-old goaltender Dylan Garand, who backed up Max Palaga in three games last year while Dylan Ferguson was up with Vegas, are trying to crack the roster for one of three Canadian teams in the World Hockey Challenge, which runs from Nov. 3-10 in New Brunswick.
