Pop-up U.S. consulate comes to Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — American and dual citizens living in the Kamloops area will be able to access consular services close to home later this week.

The U.S. Consulate General Vancouver will hold a "pop-up" consulate in Kamloops on Friday, July 27.

The pop-up service will offer passport application acceptance, notarial services and overseas voter registration, among other services.

All services require an appointment and have a fee associated.

It will be held at the Thompson-Nicola Regional District library in downtown Kamloops, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday.
