Power outage hits downtown Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Roughly 400 BC Hydro customers are currently without power, most of them in downtown Kamloops.

According to BC Hydro, crews are enroute to assist with the downtown outage – the second outage to strike the area since yesterday. No word yet on the cause.

The second outage affecting 20 customers on the North Shore in the 800 block of Lolo Street was planned work being done on its equipment.
