RCMP investigating church fire west of Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE — The Williams Lake RCMP is investigating a church fire west of town at the Toosey First Nations community on Cotton Road.

The fire broke out early Saturday (July 14) morning and partially burned the structure to the ground.

“Several community members had attempted to extinguish the fire but were not successful. No one was injured as a result of the fire,” said Staff Sgt. Annie Linteau.
