Man dies in Lumby crash

LUMBY — An accident Saturday night on Mabel Lake Road in Lumby claimed the life of a 32 year old Lumby man.

Police say an F350 pickup truck went of the road in the 2900 block and hit a rock embankment.

The man, who was driving, and his passenger, a 33 year old Vernon woman, were thrown from the vehicle.

He died at the scene.

She was airlifted to hospital for treatment and released.
