KAMLOOPS — Those individuals interested in running for local office this fall should circle July 27 on their calendars.

That’s the date local governments in the region will be making nomination packages available to them.

In Kamloops, that means you can either pick up a package starting July 27 at City Hall or via the city’s election website.

Those interested in running for a position with the Thompson-Nicola Regional District can also pick up their nomination package in person or online. The same goes for the Cariboo Regional District where you can pick up packages at its offices in 100 Mile House, Williams Lake and Quesnel. You can also access the package online.
