Coquihalla crash results in multiple injuries

KAMLOOPS-  A single vehicle accident on the Coquihalla Saturday night resulted in multiple injuries. 

The accident happened around 9:30 PM one kilometre south of Inks Lake Road.

A northbound SUV loaded with 8 people went off the highway, rolled, and wound up on its wheels in the median.

Passersby helped treat the injured until emergency crews arrived. All 8 occupants were taken to hospital for treatment. At least two of them are believed to have sustained serious injuries.

Kamloops Fire personnel had indicated two passengers had been ejected during the accident.
