ARMSTRONG — RCMP are looking for a vehicle involved in a hit and run collision in Spallumcheen.

A Dodge Journey was clipped by a white Pontiac Grand Am which ventured into the van’s lane on Highway 97A near Otter Lake Road around 10 Thursday morning.

“The white Pontiac Grand Am failed to stop and sped away from the scene at high rates of speed. No injuries were reported, however the Dodge Journey suffered extensive damage, causing it to lose the passenger front quarter panel,” says Cst. Kelly Brett.

Police say the suspect vehicle will undoubtedly have some damage to the driver side of the vehicle, and anyone with information is asked to call Armstrong RCMP at 250-546-3028.
