LYTTON, B.C. —  A Lytton family isn’t giving up hope in the search for relative Duane Alvin Aleck.

He’s been missing since he headed out on a fishing trip June 18 in the Fraser Canyon.

Earlier this week, the RCMP sent out a news release saying he was “presumed drowned,” but the family isn’t buying it.

In fact, they’ve issued a plea on Facebook requesting the assistance of fishermen or anyone else who can help find Aleck.
