Cyclist seriously injured in Enderby hit-and-run

ENDERBY — A 46 year old Enderby man has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run.

RCMP Cpl. Yannick Lescarbeau says it happened last night just after 7:00 p.m. when the victim was struck by a commercial vehicle while riding his bike in the 1700 block of George Street in Enderby.

“Witnesses described that the fleeing vehicle, a large white commercial truck with a red utility trailer was travelling northbound on Highway 97A when the collision happened.”

He says the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
