From PG to Calgary: New direct flight announced

PRINCE GEORGE — A new, direct flight has been announced at the Prince George Airport.
WestJet has rolled out a new non-stop service to Calgary. This is the third time WestJet has attempted a direct flight from YXS to YYC, but this time the company says it will stick as it’s running a new, smaller plane that seats 34 instead of 78.
The local Chamber of Commerce says the new addition will save time for those travelling for work, as they no longer need to make a stop in Vancouver before moving on.
There is a hope the direct flight will attract new businesses to the city. The flight will run once daily.
