Proposed development in Rose Hill going to public hearing

KAMLOOPS — Rose Hill could see a new development take shape in the community in the not too distant future. A proposed 58-home subdivision is going to a public hearing.

City council voted in favour of moving the project forward to include public input. A rezoning application has been submitted for 30-hectare property. More than a hectare of the land in rose hill currently falls under the agricultural land commission.

The city is still awaiting a decision from the ALC, which will come following the visit later this month.

A date for the public hearing has not been set.
