Kamloops RCMP track down and arrest break and enter suspect

KAMLOOPS — At least seven police cruisers were spotted by residents living near Clearwater Avenue on Kamloops’ North Shore Sunday morning. 

Police blocked access to the area following a 911 call for a break and enter to a residence on Clearwater Ave near Schubert Dr.

The caller reported hearing someone inside the home around 10 a.m. 

Police secured the area and brought in a police dog to track down the suspect, who was found at another residence nearby. 

The male suspect was arrested, and streets have been re-opened to traffic.
