KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Minor Baseball played host to the River City Classic on the weekend.

Thirty teams played in four age divisions, with the RiverDogs crowned champions in two divisions.

The Kal Tire RiverDogs prepped for the second half of their College Prep season, going undefeated to win the midget division — downing the Central Okanagan Minor Baseball Association Sun Devils 6-3 in the final.

Two-way player Lane Grunderud pitched the win in his first start of the season and drove in three runs for the RiverDogs.
