Tunkwa Lake Road fire now under control

LOGAN LAKE, B.C. — The Tunkwa Lake Road fire near Logan Lake is now under control. 

There were 72 wildfire personnel on site Friday with four pieces of heavy equipment and one helicopter.

The fire is suspected to be human caused, but the fire remains under investigation.

Re-mapping on Friday showed the fire was 165 hectares in size.
