LYTTON, B.C. — CFJC Today reader Michael Glynn has sent us some rare and spectacular video.

The 8mm footage shows the raging Thompson River during the great flood of 1972, from a location about 15 kilometres northeast of Lytton.

Glynn says he recently converted the 8mm video to a digital format, and wanted to share the rare footage with the public.
