Kamloops’ Pauwels sets Saint Leo University scoring record

KAMLOOPS — Kyle Pauwels from Kamloops scored two goals to lead the Saint Leo Lions Florida lacrosse team to an NCAA Division two quarter final win over Tampa.

Pauwels set a Lions season goal record with 52.

His two goals on the weekend were Pauwels 100 and 101st of his two year career at Saint Leo. 

Kyle Pauwels and the Lions will now travel to Hickory, North Carolina to take on the South Region #1 seed Lenoir-Rhyne Bears in the semi finals.
