Mounties bust Kamloops pot dispensary

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops RCMP shut down a pot shop that had been operating illegally in the city today.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says they did so after executing a search warrant at Canna Clinic on Hillside Drive at 10:30 a.m.

“There were two employees arrested,” she says. “Once the evidence is collected and analyzed, the case will be referred to the Public Prosecution Service for consideration of potential charges.”

Shelkie notes the shop has been on their radar for some time.
